Answer Our Prayers
Many Christians could attest to the fact that having your prayers answered is not something that happens overnight. It’s a process of praying according to God’s will and persevere until we get results. As a consequence, many people become discouraged – they stop praying and give up.
No, friends! Don’t let us become disheartened or lose faith, because IT IS WRITTEN that God our Father who sits on the most-high throne will listen to our cries and answer according to what He thinks is best for us. Since the fall of humans, all kinds of illnesses and diseases have been affecting our survival and welfare. It is our belief that God gave us medical science to help resolve many of these issues. Nonetheless, many people are still suffering under the yoke of sickness. Or, to be more precisely, we all have suffered from some sort of condition – and if not yet, one day we will. That’s the nature of our existence.
But, don’t let us lose hope, because God said in His Word that He is more than able to heal our diseases and restore our bodies.

Hope For The Future
Do you remember how our Bible defines Faith?
According to Hebrews 11:1, faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.
What are we hoping for, actually? What are the things we are convinced they exist, but haven’t seen yet with our own eyes? Why are we following Jesus? Why do we believe in the Bible? Isn’t it in part because we want to meet our Creator and live eternally without pain and suffering?

You turn on the TV or open the Internet, and the news is filled with negative stories and events. It’s scary out there, isn’t it?
Needless to say that we are still living in an erratic world. And, if we think that one day it would get better, here’s a word of advice: Buckle Up, because according to the Bible, it will get much worse before it gets better.
So, what do we do now with all our angst about these things happening around us? Here’s the good news: God promised in the Scripture that He will give us peace that is beyond explanation. So, let’s be strong and courageous, friends, because in the midst of all these chaos, the peace of God is available.

Wisdom & Guidance
Most Christians would agree when I say: It’s difficult to live according to the Word of God. Doing what the flesh wants to do is easy. But, going against the flow of our sinful nature is a hard pill to swallow. Give in to peer pressure is easy. But, standing up for what we believe in will give us countless enemies. And last, but certainly not least: Trying to maintain our faith in a world that is increasingly becoming ungodly, is incredibly challenging – this is especially true for young people.
Therefore, we need God’s wisdom and guidance in our lives. We need Him to show us the way, so that we may walk on His path. Fortunately, His wisdom and guidance are available if we seek His face. Yes, our all-knowing and powerful God promised to guide all His followers.

Supply Our Needs
Did you know that Abraham called God: Jehovah Jireh? It means ‘The Lord Will Provide’. (For those who want more context, please read Genesis 22).
From generation to generation, God made evident that He will provide for His children. Check out these examples:
– He took care of the people of Israel in the wilderness; manna from Heaven;
– An angel of God provided food and drink for Elijah when he was fleeing (1 Kings 19:6);
– God made a leafy plant grow to shade Jonah from the Sun and so make him more comfortable (Jonah 4:6);
– All the provision miracles of Jesus: turning water into wine, feeding 5000 men, the miraculous catch of fish, among others.
God knows that we need food and shelter to survive – He created us that way, after all. And He doesn’t only know that, but He also promised to supply in the needs of His servants.
So, when life gets tough and we don’t have the means to support ourselves and our family, remember that God is able to give us much more than anything we can ask or think of.

Salvation & Eternal Life
Many would agree that the most beautiful and comforting promises of them all is the Promise of Salvation and Eternal Life. I don’t think that anybody has ever said something as amazing about Salvation as the apostle Paul when He said in Romans 8:18: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the GLORY that is to be revealed to us.”
This world can’t offer us much. But, we have a hope and it’s called Jesus. He made a way for every single one of us. He opened the door to the Father, and the choice is ours to choose that narrow door.
Take heart, friends! If we persevere, soon and very soon, we are going to meet our King.

Ending Suffering
It goes without saying that we all are dealing with something, aren’t we? It doesn’t matter how rich you are, or how physically beautiful you are, or how good person you are, or that you’re a princess in a royal family, life is not easy for anyone. All lives in this world are filled with pain, struggles, and challenging circumstances – just in different ways and levels. It’s the hard reality we do not really understand, but that we have to accept, plan for and live with for the rest of our earthly lives.
However, there is good news. Along with Salvation and Eternal Life, Jehovah God promised His children something else: the END of Suffering. Wouldn’t be amazing to live eternally and not having to worry where our next meal is coming from? Wouldn’t be satisfying to not have to suffer under the yoke of sickness and disease? What about a world without war, violence and injustice?
God gave us the guarantee that Jesus will come back for a second time, and then He will restore all created things to their former glory.
So, this is what the Scripture says about the end of all suffering:
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away. | Revelation 21:4
